Today was another chilly day in the country, I spent the morning with the older children, with more severe special needs. It was a challenge to interact with them, as you don't get any response from them. But yet you can see how much the tias love and cared for them. It was an amazing experience and one I wouldn't trade for anything! I'm so thankful to be here.
After lunch we had a goodbye party for the little boy is was just adopted by a family from Italy. It was so much fun to see him interacting with his mom and dad and to see how much they already loved him! It was also very sad, as he said goodbye to all his friends here. I realized how brave this little boy was, saying goodbye to everyone he loves and setting out to a new life. Everyone here will miss him so much! There was many tears, from the tias, the children and his new family......
Everyone joined in the fun!
These girls are amazing! I will defiantly never forget them!
This is him with his mom.
Saying goodbye to his best friend.
Interacting with his family!
The tias love and care for these children like their own!
Giving a speech and a farewell card to his friend.
He walked around and hugged and kissed everyone, then he walked around serving everyone snacks and cake, and was helping feed some that needed help. It was so amazing to see his love for everyone here!
This little guy is suppose to be adopted in just a couple of weeks. He is deaf, but he will be able to have a surgery that may help him.
We love baby's!!
We then walked around the balcony talking about our day, enjoying the scenery and of course snapping some pictures.....
Notice the cows...
I said unto the Lord, Thou art my God, hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord. I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted and the right of the poor. Psalms 140:6 & 12
He is my God, and I will trust in Him alone! He is faithful, just and true. He is all truth, and His way is always best. I have learned this truth through experience and I will hold to it, no matter what.
Beautiful pictures and praying for may more wonderful home for these amazing children. We serve a might and powerful God!
