Day 3
Then she walked us through the cornfield, over the stream and under the hedge to the bus! We hopped on and were off... we made it to our first stop then we started waiting for the next bus....and waited.....and waited...
There was huge accident so all the traffic was stopped ahead, so no buses could get through. So we waited for 2 hours before we followed a local lady and finally landed on the bus that we wanted! So we made it a little exhausted and a little sun burnt....
We got home to find out that all our stuff had been moved while we were gone...apparently someone else needed to stay in our place, so we got a bed room in the house now....I feel sorry for the two ladies who had to pack up all our stuff and move it!
This is Ecuador, and we are getting so used to it! I am beginning to worry if I will be able to function in normal society...
I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His wondrous love to me;
On the cruel cross He suffered,
From the curse to set me free.
Sing, oh, sing of my Redeemer,
With His blood He purchased me,
On the cross He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt, and made me free.
I will tell the wondrous story,
How my lost estate to save,
In His boundless love and mercy,
He the ransom freely gave.
I will praise my dear Redeemer,
His triumphant pow'r I'll tell,
How the victory He giveth
Over sin, and death, and hell.
I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His heav'nly love to me;
He from death to life hath brought me,
Son of God with Him to be.
