a bitter sweet day...

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:1 &6

Faith... that's why we are here, and that's why we are leaving....because we believe God called us here for a short time and now He is calling us to go back home...we don't know all the outcomes yet, yet we hold on to  faith....

A day late from Internet problems.....

Hi ho hi ho its off to see the babies we go....we enjoyed a nice busy morning with the babys. Since the director is still here things are kinda buzzing.....but I think it helped the tias to settle down, knowing we were there to help keep children content. A lot of the older children went to horse therapy so then things settled down a little....we enjoyed a visit with the tia and met some new volunteers.

A few of our favorite people....
 Doing our favorite things....

This little guy is the one that had cataract's removed on both of his eye's. He is going amazing! It so much fun to watch him play as he now sees the toys that he is playing with. I'm not sure how well he sees, but its much better!!

This afternoon/evening was spent in the office...I did the largest file yet! 570 pages, I started at 1 and it finally finished saving around 7:30. I was the last one to leave the office! So we came back for a quick supper and to grab the cake Natasha had made this afternoon. But then while I was washing dishes I hear Natasha say, BRIANNA!!! So I turn and see the largest spider I have ever seen comes crawling across the floor...I'm not much of a screamer but this one had me! My heart went to my throat and I screamed! So we both back as far away from the spider as we can, while we get our whits about us and decide what to do...so I inch toward it and decide to stomp on it...so Natasha says, "Just wait while until I get on the counter! Don't worry I'm not jumping on it! So finally I make the plunge and stomp....then we both SCREAM!! I jump back and Mr. Spider lands in pieces. Then Natasha and I stand their gasping for air, apparently we had forgotten to breath.....
alive...
dead...

So then we headed back to the orphanage grabbed the tias and Tanya and had a little birthday surprise for one of the tias! She was very surprised and definitely blushing! It was so enjoyable just talking visiting with the tias, also very sad....but we won't talk about that!

 the Birthday Girl!!
