Rainy days in Ecuador

O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day, I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.  Psalm 119:97,100 & 104

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is so convicting! How many times a day I just have to stop and say, Change my heart O God, make it ever new, change my heart O God, may I be like you!

We moved yesterday morning! We were without WiFi for awhile, but I enjoyed it! But now we are all set up and adjusting to everything! We have to get use to cooking in someone else's kitchen, but I think it will work pretty well! We then set off for a adventure high in the mountains, but alas it rained...poured....so we ended up walking around in the rain, and getting some warm drinks, so by the time we got back we were pretty wet and cold! But we still went to have a good bye dinner for the Child Sponsorship Coordinator, so when we finally made it home at 9 pm I was ready to not see another drop of rain in a while, but then I spotted the trampoline......O, yes! We jumped!!

I felt like I was 10 again!! :)

It was really raining!!

Then we found out our roof has a couple of leaks by the door....
Then I pulled out my nice warm socks I got at the market...

Natasha deemed them photo worthy.. I love them!!

We were both so grateful to climb into nice warm beds!

This morning, I woke up coughing (and its still raining!) but I guess that is probably expected, but by the time we ate breakfast I had pretty much stopped! Praise the Lord! We were both ready to be back at the orphanage for a full day!

I can't even say how much these children have come to mean to me! They make me smile, cheer my heart, and show me just how very blessed I am, they make me see the world through different eyes....

This little guy is just learning how to walk!!

I see you!!

Yes, I enjoyed my day very much!

As you can see, Ecuador has done absolutely nothing nice to my hair! :)
