Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!
O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.
Natasha and I were just talking last night of victory's we have experienced in our lives, since we came here.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Psalm 98:1
O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory. Psalm 98:1
As I was considering some of the heart aches, pain, struggles that I have gone through in my life, I thought of all the times I wanted to give up, when in despair I thought I would never rise above the pain. When I look back on those times, I am thankful, because I would never be who I am today without these trials, strengthening me, changing me, making me ask questions but most of all drawing me closer to my Saviour! If my life had gone how I had planned, I would never be where I am today, and how many blessings I would have missed out on! I'm so thankful that God is in control! I have no idea what the future holds, but I know who holds the future and I know that it will be far better than any plan I could dream up! So may my life bring glory to my King! No matter what happens in this life, it is in vain, if it is not for Christ! He died for me, may I live for Him!
Since our landlords are out for the day we decided to do some cooking that we didn't want to do while our very clean land lady is around.....its a little nerve racking!
We worked hard to find these ingredients!
Corn syrup is not very popular around here!
Natasha's first at popping corn on a stove! She did great those little gators helped her out!
It was delicious!
We made some Colado too! It is a very popular drink here, we added guava to ours! It didn't turn out the greatest, but the instructions were pretty vague...add to your liking.....boil till its consistency you like.....add white sugar, brown sugar, salt, or cinnamon to your liking....
Thank you for the wonderful reminder. Oh and the popcorn looks wonderful!
