According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3:11
We never know what the purpose is in things that we do for Christ. Often we don't have an earthly reward. Often we don't see an earthly purpose, but by faith we know that God is painting a bigger picture. So daily we serve, asking God to use our feeble efforts.
Well this morning, we were sent down to the toddler house. We had a wonderful time playing with the older children! I was reading the Bible with one girl, which was great practice for me! So later on in the morning we went to clean Casa Sol, it is the house across the street, by the pool, they use it for extra volunteers. Well Natasha and I both fell in love with it! It is the neatest house! We decided to have a race to see who can get married first and move there...... :) haha not going to happen! But neither of us would mind living here!
Here is Natasha unlocking the door, it was so short!!
Yes, I often have to take over on the unlocking thing.... ;)
Which one is it??
So this is the living room.....
The dining room....
The kitchen....
It was just way to cute!!
haha Natasha doing her hair in the mirror.....
The little loft.....
We had a unanimous decision that my Spanish needs to improve, so while cleaning the house, we spoke only Spanish! Its very hard, but we did it! I even would go ask the tias for different things that we needed! They loved it when I would be able to ask in Spanish! So the learning goes on....
We got the house and cleaned and stocked up, enjoyed an empanada, finished up the morning in the baby house then came back for lunch!
This afternoon we went back to the baby house and played with our precious little bundles! I love these little ninos! After supper, Natasha and I were hanging out in the baby room, and I like to do push-ups on the mat. So I decided to do push-ups as far as I can count in Spanish, then do sit-ups as far as I can say the alphabet in Spanish. Finally I look out the big window, and the tia is standing there laughing..... yes, I am working out to the alphabet!
I feel like I am in kindergarten again, trying to learn my abc's and 123's.
We enjoyed our evening with the baby's and the tias again, I think I just volunteered to make the tia a dress or something....I'm a little concerned about this! I don't have any of my stuff! But hopefully I can conjure up something, I am suppose to bring pictures tomorrow for her to pick out what she wants..... I would love to dig my hands into some sewing though! Its been over a month now!
We enjoyed vanilla ice cream and chocolate covered strawberries for supper! mmmm it was delicious!
