Another precious day in Ecuador...

ooopss for some reason this didn't actually publish last night...

Casting all your cares upon Him, for He careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Today dawned bright and early...
I had the help of Tanya and Jen, this morning so it went by quickly and was enjoyable visiting and sharing with them....

I can't believe how much these little ones have grown and changed over the last couple months! It's crazy! Especially when I think how much my nephews have grown too! They are going to look so different when I see them....

I met some girls who are doing internships for school, it was neat to talk to them and learn about them and what they are doing. I love seeing the local volunteers that come in and enjoy the children and working with them. Its always such a blessing!

So I took a couple little boys swimming...they have so much fun! Then we had lunch....and everyone just wanted to spit it out...spill it...drop there spoons...but finally we made it!

I was able to talk to Natasha this afternoon for a little bit! It was great to see her again...well at least her face! I even was able to play a couple of April fools jokes this afternoon....it was great! :)

I love the random Spanish conversations I have with people and I especially love it when I can understand them! It's so exciting! for me and them! Its great when I can actually get to know the people that are around me everyday...you don't realize how wonderful it is to just be able to chat with someone until they are sitting next to you day after day and you can't ask them the things you want to, or talk to them....its a long slow process but I'm working on it! I hear a word over and over and suddenly it just clicks...O, that's what that is!

So this afternoon I was back at the office....scanning and waiting...scanning and waiting....but I have been able to get to know some of the people at the office a little, and its still a great time to do random things...like work on my Spanish! :) and occasionally I hear crying and fighting children from down below so I don't feel to far away from all the excitement! But after 7 hrs it gets long...

So I went home this evening and threw in a load of wash and decided to try to seal my purse that keeps  dying everything turquoise..(including my white shirt). So I filled the sink with salt water and put my purse into soak, I pulled it out and the water was deep turquoise...(imagine that huh?) So I decided to throw in my white sweater for the fun of it...

This is the purse that is causing so much trouble..I already washed it once but now its dying my clothes when its not wet....

This is my sweater....Its drying now so have to wait till tomorrow to see it! I havn't done to much clothing creating the last couple months so this is pretty fun and exciting! :)

Uhoh....

Yep....this is for real....I dyed my landlady's sink blue....for those of you that know anything about her....yes, she is going to have a nice calf in the morning...gulp! no entiendo...it will be fine is a few days....umm Happy Easter!! :) gulp....
