A special day!

This morning I found some interesting, encouraging and very wonderful verses in the Bible and I couldn't decide on one...so you get to enjoy them all, just like me!

My son, keep they father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother. Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about they neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou wakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life. Proverbs 5:20-23

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 8-10

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath no the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2 :22-23

The days are quickly passing...I now have less than two weeks left in this place I have come to love so dearly! I am very excited to see my family, but my heart is torn...I don't want to leave everyone and Ecuador behind....

This morning I spent precious time with the babies...by far my favorite thing to do! The babies were doing better this morning but still very congested. When I gave them bottles they were breathing so hard... they all slept a lot, and drank less. So please continue to pray for all the babies!

This is the only one that is not sick....

The rest of them look like this...

or this....

The toddlers all have colds...

Then I got put to work elsewhere! I found some art folders and things for families that have adopted children, and I received a big photo sorting project....that I worked on for the rest of the morning...and part of the afternoon...and I'm just getting started....

I found out that none of the children at the orphanage yesterday (Maria Campi) can be adopted. So please pray for these precious children, that God might change the situations and work there that a way might be made for these children to receive forever families.

This afternoon I worked on the last medical folder!! :) yah Tomorrow I can think about the Psychological and Education folders but for today I will rejoice!

Then I was able to go with the Psychologist and our "Miss A" to the mall. It is to help her get accustom to being outside of the orphanage... It was amazing how different she was, surrounded by lots of people and strange things. She was a little overwhelmed, she enjoyed just looking mostly. We stopped to get some ice cream though...

Which we both thoroughly enjoyed! It was a very special time, especially for me! I am definitely going to miss this little girl very much! But Lord willing, not for long!! So after walking around the mall, using the escalator and elevator we headed for home again, but I was left with more precious moments and a heart full of thankfulness!

When we got back to the orphanage we had to stop and say, Hi, to Senior Lama...

Then we went to tell the tias all about our fun, and play with the other children!

Here he is, sporting His fancy new glasses! Stylish little fellow...I will have to find someone to ask, how much they are helping him to see.

Who wouldn't fall in love with that smile??

I definitely have!

Or this one??

He is definatly one of the sweetest little boys I have met! He is so loving, and absolutely adorable!

Mom??? ok, ya one at a time... ;)
